Our Services

  • If you’d like to do some exploration on your own, this option may be for you. You will be provided access to both the COPS Interest Inventory and the CAPS Aptitude Assessment, which you can complete at your own pace. Upon completion, you will receive detailed results via email to aid in your journey.

  • If you’d like guidance in interpreting and applying the results of your completed assessments, this option is sure to be your best bet as it includes the testing + a 90-minute career counseling session with Adam Ellis, which can be completed virtually or in-person. Additional career counseling sessions can be booked if needed.

  • If a psychological diagnosis, learning disorder, and/or physical injury or disability has proven to be a barrier to employment or may be in the future, this evaluation goes the extra mile. This package includes an intake meeting, thorough academic testing in addition to the Interest and Aptitude assessments, a 90-minute follow-up meeting, and a comprehensive report that summarizes findings and recommendations for future pursuits.

  • Clients may opt to create their own plan of desired assessments + counseling needs.

About Adam.

Adam Ellis has been an owner and operator of The Ellis Group since 2009. He graduated with his Bachelor of Health Science from The University of Florida in 2006 and then went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Health Science, also at the University of Florida, in 2008. Adam is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor as well as a Certified Vocational Evaluator. He enjoys working with Florida’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to help people with disabilities find and maintain employment and enhance their independence. He also enjoys providing guidance to both adolescents and adults who are seeking to understand the knowledge, skills, decisions, and steps needed to make both schooling and career changes.
